Recently we were so surprised to find a bird's nest tucked away among the branches of a tree in the compound. Little did we expect birds to nest so close to the vacation home with all the guests coming and going. A pair of sparrows chose one of the trees in the verandah to raise their young. We waited for the birds to hatch before going close to take pictures of the nest.
The birds have since flown the nest, free and wild.
Now we have two nests.
The word 'Sarang' means nest in Bahasa Malaysia. So if you are coming to Sarang Galloway for a visit don't forget to check out the bird's nest in the verandah.
